We offer monthly memberships with 24/7 access upon approval thanks to our HD video security monitoring.
We have several open seating spaces and dual-USB 2.4A electrical plugs and Ethernet ports throughout. Our Silicon Valley Conference Room seats 12-15 people and is equipped with the latest AV equipment utilizing Zoom or Google Hangouts, as well as a 55″ 4K Google JamBoard interactive whiteboard for collaboration. We also have a comfortable lounge area with video games, board games and a 65″ Chromecast enabled 4K HDR screen.
As an innovation community, we have IoT enabled lighting, temperature, and music control. Our door access is operated using KISI, a smartphone access control system (also coming soon to our own custom iOS/Android apps). To further provide access to technology, we have community-use Chromebooks, and a fully decked VR/AR station to develop and consume content with Oculus Rift, Samsung Gear VR, Google Daydream, etc.
Amenities include fresh Coffee, Tazo Tea, filtered water cooler station, full service kitchen with refrigerator/microwave/toaster oven/silverware & dishware/glasses & mugs.
We also offer daily & weekly networking opportunities to engage members to develop community, and monthly workshops bring in external guests that work in the tech industry to provide mentorship and support in the building of an ecosystem.
Dr. Beto Pallares is a local El Pasoan Venture Capitalist, Bill & Sharon Sheriff Endowed Chair of Entrepreneurship at NMSU & a Kauffman Fellow. His professional experience spans working for top-tier strategy consulting firms, co-founding start-ups, international business development, nonprofit management, and venture capital.
Priscilla holds an Organizational and Corporate Communications degree from UTEP and is currently working on her Masters in Leadership and Community Engagement. At Sandbox Ventures, she is responsible for social media, outreach, strategic planning, and operations. She enjoys engaging with the community and showcasing the work of our local entrepreneurs.
Carlos is currently an Engineering Leadership student at UTEP. He also manages operations at Sandbox Ventures and works to develop program offerings and hosting events. He is driven by the goal to transform the local community and bringing a greater tech presence to El Paso.
